This departmental form is to be used to request registration consent for HIST 29000 and for all History MA courses (excluding tutorial amd thesis seminar). It is also used to request a prerequisite override for history courses. The form should not be used for courses offered in other departments/programs. This form is NOT to be used to request consent for HIST 30000, HIST 40000, HIST 49300, HIST 77800, or HIST 77900. For these courses, please use the Supervised Research Course Approval Form available from the History Department web site. Fields marked with an * are required.
This eight-digit number can be found on your Hunter OneCard, or by accessing your CUNYfirst account (In CUNYfirst, select Self Service, then select Student Center).
Please indicate the course(s) for which you are requesting consent below. For course information, provide course number and section (example: HIST 12100-01) and class number. Both can be found on the searchable schedule of classes . For each course requested, check the appropriate action(s) from the choices provided below the course information box. Please note: The History Department does not give overtally consent for courses that are officially closed.
