This form may be used by students requesting a Change of Status from B-1/B-2, F-2, or other visa categories to F-1

Each change of status case is unique, and processing times vary depending on the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). We strongly recommend that you begin the application process early and consult with your Designated School Official (DSO).
